Head of Marketing - 6m CONTRACT. Digital Marketing Agency.

Our client is a well established and leading digital agency who have a terrific roster of global clients and deliver a wide range of digital solutions to blue chip corporate brands. We're currently looking for a Head of Marketing to join them on a 6 month contract to drive marketing strategy and growth for the agency and to ensure that tactical activity generates effective conversion to new and retained business. To be considered for this role, we are seeking a Head of Marketing who has worked in a creative, ideally digital agency environment. You'll lead a team of 4 individuals across marketing and business development so it's essential that you are a leader with sound people management skills and the ability to lead by example. Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will ensure that the marketing communication plan (across all channels) is executed to ensure leads are converted to clients and revenue. You will be a visible Head of Marketing, a brand ambassador for the agency - we're looking for someone with a proven track record of growing agency brand awareness through PR and marketing activity and who can position the agency as a global thought leader. From a strategic viewpoint you will be able to assess new markets, and vertical sectors, further develop the agency brand guidelines and image and to develop the insight to build tactical plans which will generate a pipeline of leads to deliver agency revenue targets. As Head of Marketing you'll be a team player and will work collaboratively with senior board members and other stakeholders to ensure that growth is consistent and future focused.
This agency is Manchester based and are looking for 3 days per week in the office.
